This photograph was shot , at around 7.00PM. The evening light was wonderful but the temperature and humidity were pretty brutal. The dew point was up around 70F. The uprights are two concrete pillars out of four that will become part of a giant arbor that will form the entrance to a new town park. As far as I can gather the park is scheduled for completion around Julyb or August. That is not official though.
There is a massive stage at the other end which really does look impressive. Loads of Lights have been put into the roof or awning (not quite sure what to call it). I will post a photo soon – to be honest I haven’t taken one that does it justice as of yet.
The photo at the top of this post id pretty stark – it really is all about the geometry and it works as an abstraction and not as a representational piece. Basically it is a collection of rectangles. Not sure whether the blue and red against the wall helps or hinders.
This was shot with a Canon A3100 IS on program setting ISO 200 WB cloudy.
