Glass Brick Abstract 2

With this shot I wanted to get both the glass brick and the door window in shot but separate as the latter provided a nice ‘echo’ of the former.

I deliberately chose to focus on the back edge of the brick and not the front corner to pull the viewers eye through the image towards the window rather than straight out of the top of the image.

Post processing was done in Lightroom 4.3 both sharpening the image and increasing the local contrast.  I wanted to emphasize the hardness of the brick with the apparent softness of the window.
