I've ordered for D600 support.
Looks interesting.

+Michael Zieschang to be honest I just put everything through it – including point and shoot jpegs. Never worried too much about whether camera is supported or not. Saying that, I think mine are.

I'm using LR 3.6 actually.
And my new baby is not in there.

+Michael Zieschang they are offering what they call 'preliminary support' in 4.2 – I haven't heard any horror stories yet. On a different note LR 4 is a big jump up from 3 in terms of developing. I'm finding mysaelf reworking old photographs originally done in 3 and the difference is substantial.

Very cool shot +Steve Johnson! It took me a few moments to recognize what I was seeing. Beautiful processing. Did you design a preset for this?

Hi +Christianna Pierce
I could turn the settings into a preset but it is pretty straight forward – full clarity then a gradient off the picture area with clarity boosted even further – this wasn't possible with LR 3 but the clarity function is so much better in LR4 that it can be really pushed hard.
The gradient trick is worth knowing and can be used to boost anything.

Thanks for the tips on the clarity boost and gradient trick, Steve. I look forward to experimenting!

+Christianna Pierce I'm only just getting to grips with 4.2 but if you need any assistance just give me a yell :)

Thank you, Steve! I am just returning to Lightroom for processing some of my images after a year of iPhone only. Version 4.2 seems to be filled with great options. I will definitely take you up on your kind offer!

+Christianna Pierce pleasure – the things that impressed me the most was the actual processing itself – there are a couple of new modules which I haven't even looked at yet. :)

+Steve Johnson Yes, like the "book" module. l played around with it last night and it seems really intuitive to use. I just wish it offerred a greater selection of book sizes…

+Christianna Pierce I'll have to look into that – I know that it does the Blurb sizes but that is where my knowledge ends. (I used Blurbs own software for doing my square one so I haven't tested it).
