As I have mentioned before I’ve started using the desktop version of Snapseed as an external editor for Lightroom. Lightroom covers all the basic editing functions superbly but it has very little in the way of what are often referred to as the more creative options such as textures. Snapseed does this very well and produces really good quality results.
