You certainly know how to handle your blacks and whites. They’re always based on a well balanced contrast, and sadly, I don't see that very often. Your scenes totally stand out in my stream.
+Pete Esser Thanks – sometimes I used to tie myself in knots over black and white processing but now I make it about the photograph rather than a faithful reproduction of reality. Also I think it is important to be aware of when information is being lost by blowing highlights or increasing blacks but to not be scared of losing said information – if that makes any sense.
Not an approach that will please many I know but at some point a decision is necessary.
